Carley

My Grandaughter, Carley made her First Holy Communion today. It was a grand occasion but we are having a rainy day.... all day. It seems all the churches picked today to have First Communion too bad about the rain. It reminds me of our wedding day when it rained and rained all day ..... if things go according it should be a nice sunny day tomorrow.... It was nice never the less.
I want to watch the race now but it seems its raining in Alabama where the race is too.... so I guess its time to finish reading a book I started a few weeks ago. Hope you are having a nice day, Sandra

Dandelions

After Leo spent a good part of his day digging out dandelions the little neighbor girls came over with a bouquet of dandelions for us.... They are pretty and I'm sure the girls were pleased that they could bring us such a nice present .... So I put them in a vase and will just have to refrain from breathng when I go near them as I'm allergic to them. LOL
Leo and I had a good time laughing when we were alone in the house. It was a beautiful present we thought!

Another beautiful day

How is everyone today? Very Very good I hope. I am starting to feel a little better every day and am looking forward to the day when I have forgetten I was feeling bad to begin with. I think I have a tendency to make a mountain out of a molehill but I got so scared and then my blood pressure went up etc..... Tues is the day I will see my doctor and he will tell me Iam just fine and to get on with my life...... :>)
   Leo is cutting the grass again today after digging out the dandelions ..... he is a fanatic about his lawn in the spring even if he is having trouble with allergies.... He loves looking at his green grass. Me I like looking at my flowers but the grass always makes them look better too so its fine with me that he wants to keep it up. I would never be able to do it as good as he does.
I have just been doing my laundry today and the usual things around the house. haven't a clue about supper but maybe it will be that new Asian chicken salad at Mc Donalds... :)Gary will have his pizza so that leaves Leo.... we will have to figure that one out I guess. I wish he could just eat a hamburger or something but he can't swallow things like that. We will think of something good.

JasminMarie

Here is the first picture of Jasmin Marie.... I can hardly wait to see her and hold her but that will have to wait a bit yet.... She is doing well and I hear she is eating very good... she looks rather chubby doesn't she. I'm so happy my Son has a digital camera.. It sure wasn't like that when our kids were born.... Everyone is doing fine now and my son said he is so happy he was there for the birth. Now I wonder if he will be able to drag himself away to go fishing this week end.
My Grandaughter is making her First Communion this week end and I don't know yet if I will feel good enough to go.... But my other son bought a new camera and said he will take a lot of pictures.... I know not the same but thats ok.... I get nervous in crowds anyway and I won't be missed because there will be enough others there to be with her. Right now I just want to feel better and have a nice happy summer. I think I will wait until after I see the doctor on Tuesday to go anywhere .... if I can stand it. I can go out in the sun and water my flowers and do small jobs around the house and thats fine with me..... just until I am all better anyway, Oh and Iam losing the weight I have been trying to lose too.... just hope that continues when I get well.

Getting better

Today I took my blood pressure and it was way too high so Leo took me to the doctor where it was even higher so I was told to wait and they got a new cuff and then it was lower.... I made an appointment to see the doctor next Tuesday to get my medication straightened out.... should be done taking the medicine for Bronchitis by then and feeling better too. I was so nervous when I saw how high my pressure was but am now feeling better because the doctor seems to think what I am taking will be just fine until Tuesday. I will try my best to stay relaxed until then.
My Son's step daughter is in the hospital right now having her baby. I sure hope its all going well. She will be so happy to have that over with I bet.... she still has a year of high school to go and then College... I hope. I can't wait to see the little one though I will have to wait until I get better as I sure don't want anyone to get sick. My son is sure happy she is Having her today because his big fishing trip is coming up this week end.... His big event of the year and it's just a good thing he didn't have to make a choice. When he was here yesterday I told him what his choice had to be but he wasn't listening.... I tried though.
I will put a picture in as soon as I get one....I'm sure he has his camera but he may get too nervous and forget to use it. He has never had any babies of his own so I don't know how he is going to act..... It will be fun to find out... Just hope everything is going ok.

Baby Jasmine Marie was born at 4:30 this afternoon and she is healthy and weighs  7#'s and is 19 inches long.... Dan didn't get to a computer yet to send the pictures. :)  He is so oooo excited. So maybe it will be tomorrow. My Daughters are going to go to the hospital though and Shari will take some pictures so I may get those first. I can't go because I'm sick...... Now I have to hurry and get better so I can hold the little one.

Up Date

Good morning... well almost afternoon. I 'm just coming in to let you know I went to the doctor yesterday and found out I have Bronchitis and am taking medicine for it and I also found out my potassium is low so more pills and a water pill and an inhaler... I hope to be better soon.... should be by the end of the week .... thats when the pills are gone... :) so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

The rose is one from last year. I have a lot of flowers in bloom today but haven't taken a picture.... I feel a little weak so am just laying around the house and doing easy stuff like dishes and picking up and taking care of the dogs and cat etc... I don't like laying around because it makes me think of myself too much and I make a mountain out of a molehill that way. Maybe I should watch a movie.  I bet a lot of you would like to have my problem.... well not the sick part I guess but the laying around and doing nothing part.....
Its supposed to be a sunny day today but here it is minutes from noon and I think its just starting to peek through.... Sun always helps doesn't it.... I will find something to do and as soon as Iam better I will have lots of fun stuff to do  and maybe I will even start a new hobby ..... hows that for positive thinking. Take care, Sandra

Sunny and warmer

Today is a nice sunny day but I have a terrible cold. I was up every 15 min to half hour all night because of coughing.... My ribs are aching today but being up now I don't cough as much or it doesn't seem like it because I 'm not being awakened... I suppose it must have something to do with the weather and all the trees are budding out etc etc..... I hope tonight is better.
So I'm not doing very much today, Mostly laying around the house. I did start supper though in the slow cooker so we will eat tonight. Last night Leo went to Dairy Queen and got hamburgers etc...I was just not able to get myself into the kitchen to make a meal. I think I will now go and check the supper and sit and read for awhile. Leo went fishing again today and got home and had to wash his van... it seems the birds fly over where he parks and left many many white spots.. haha.... shame on them.
I hope your day is better than mine but I'm sure I will get better soon. Take care, Sandra
