We started to put out some of the Christmas lights as the weathr is so nice and is going to get very cold soon I'm sure. We put the lights on for a little while but will wait now until the rest of our neighbors start putting theirs on ~~ after Thanksgiving I guess sometime.
I have been doing a few crafts for Christmas gifts and reading some books I had stached away until the weather was too cold to do yard work. I have all the work finished now and only will have to shovel some snow when it arrives. We are having a nice fall this year so winter won't seem as long as it does some years but we will get our share and it will probably last into spring, but I hope not. I love spring and usually start the yard clean up as soon as enough of the snow melts.... not all mind you but just enough and the temp is just about right for me to want to get out of the house.

The lights are real pretty. I was looking at ice skates today because it used to be such fun but I didn't get any, I may still though. Well fall is this nice this late, it is true that winter is shorter.

I love your beautiful white lights and all the other things in the yard. You and Leo always do such a great job! Our neighbor across the street has a spiral tree up this year right across from our living window - so we can enjoy it along with the white lighted deer they have out.
I have a pair of white figure skates in my closet but haven't used them in so many years but like to have them there to remember the fun times when the kids were still home ~ funny but the ice got slippery and slippery every year.
