HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Its a beautiful sunny day again today so I got out of the house. Yeh for me! I just went to Walgreens to get my pills refilled and some medicine for our son, Gary who has the flu, :(  I also got my husband a card and a small box of candy ( he doesn't eat candy and I should not either but I got the smallest box of my favorite kind. ( only 4 pieces) I also got a card that said "from me" and told him we could both use it, lol Are we gettin old or what? Any way he thought it was a cute card and kind of a fun thing to do if it was alright with me.  Leo was happy because he didn't have to go and get me anything. he has a hard time deciding what it is I want ~  he said I can order anything I want on QVC ( my favorite store) So now I can watch and decide what to get. or maybe go on line when I decide. It will be fun for me anyway I do it I guess.
I was watching a garden channel yesterday and I got an idea for a spot by my patio where I used to have a tree. I always put hibiscus in a big pot on the patio but I think this year I will try and plant them in the ground and see if they grow better that way and it won't be so much up keep.  Has anyone ever planted them in the ground? Its so funny because we always get them in big pots and just  pot it  into another big pot on the patio and I think it may need more watering that way and maybe they don't get as big either... I'm going to find out this year I think. I always have to try new things every year and that is something that interests me this year.

That's pretty funny you getting Leo your favorite kind of candy but good idea. I heard of people putting those flowers in the ground in the pots and then bringing them in, in the fall. The kind that I have I just leave out cause it's hardy for our zone. Happy Valentine's Day.

Your planting sounds like a great idea. Nothing prettier by a front entrance. : )

QVC is my favorite store, too! I kind of have to stay away from there for a while. I don't think your guys are getting old at all. It's the same for Jim and me.
