Shoveling snow

We got our snow! I just came in from shoveling it. I did the patio and the paths in the back and then helped Leo shovel the driveway. Its nice and warm and not blowing so it was just nice exercise. We got about 7 1/2 Inches so far with more falling. They figure we will get only 2 more inches and then the plows will come and then the hard part of shoveling will start. Its usually pretty deep and this time will probably be at least 2 feet high in the front of the driveway and mailbox. You can't just throw it you have to walk to a spot to throw it with each shovel full. Its going to get pretty warm today though ~ about 32. That means it will get heavier as it gets warmer so I'm glad we got most of it finished already.

I think that's so funny that your cat will go out in the snow. My cats act like they burned their paws if they accidently touch snow that got onto the screen porch. Sounds like they all have a lot of fun.

Wow, looks like Charlie is having a wonderful time. I can't imagine what my girls would do in the snow. I remember, 2 years ago we had a nice snow and both my girls were mesmerized by the flakes falling outside the window.

Keep warm.

Isn't it so much fun to watch our animals in the snow? It's the only redeeming factor after several snow storms. It's good to have a neighbor with a snow blower, too, isn't it? We have one who helps us with the end of the driveway after the plow has gone through also. They are angels of mercy, for sure.
