Well I wanted cool and I got it... in the 60's though and rain again today. I don't mind too much but I hate that the iris are getting so wet and starting to droop. I love my iris and it always seems the season for them is way too short. Look at that bleeding heart go though ... can't believe its still in bloom no matter what the weather... It is really 3 little bushes together and I will transplant one of them to the back where I put my hostas for a little spring color there. I hope it transplants ok.
I guess today is a good day for cleaning and getting my laundry finished so I had better get started... Hope everyone is having a nice day.

Another rainy day

I know what you mean about the iris. My peach one from one started to open and petals are tearing from the storm we had. The apricot ones are falling down. The old fashioned purple ones are so much shorter that they hold up though. Perfect weather for bleeding hearts though ;) I love where you put the heart. It looks really good when the bottom is covered. I have one on the side, but I think I'll look for another 1 or 2 to put other places where I can hide the "legs" like you did. You always come up with good ways to accesorize!
Nice day to you too Sandra. Your yard is very pretty, even the clothes line poles. Mine are old silver pipes. lol Paula
Went to Fleet Farm today to buy another heart and they changed the style that they carry and I didn't like them - so I didn't get any - darn!
Everything looks so nice. It's amazing how lovely things look after a rain. When we had rain, last weekend, our Calla Lillies just jumped up in height. It was amazing what some nice natural rain could do.
