My favorite rose bush
This is a picture of my favorite rose bush.... It has been in this spot for at least 10 years now and that must be some sort of record for me as it gets so cold here that even if I cover them they sometimes freeze out and I never cover this one. Its in a very sheltered south side of the house though so I imagine that is the secret. It gets such dainty flowers too.

Congratulations! Those of us who know your journal well, know you deserve to be Editor's Pick. Love your roses. They are so pretty. But then again, your entire garden is beautiful.
Very beautiful. I had a rose that lived forever. I need to check to see if it is still alive when I go back to my old neighborhood. Paula

I have just made your site a favorite of mine. I love reading and seeing all your lovely pictures. Keep up the good work I will look forward to seeing your future entries.
How pretty I kill most plants and flower well that a given
I truly enjoyed seeing your rose bush, it and the long spiderlike flowers surrounding it remind of the flowers that we use to have in my front yard, when I was a little girl.
My grandmother grew lots of roses of all species and you're making me remember her. She died in 1955 but my memories of her and her gardens are still with me.
Beautiful rose bush, love the color and the delicacy of it.
Congrats on getting the Editor's Pick!
Take care, Penny
