Here is a picture of a lion I took this morning at our zoo. Leo has to go to the doctor for a check up this afternoon so we thought it would be a good idea to check out the animals at the zoo while he was trying to kill some time.... we had a nice time and I got some nice pictures to share with you... this is just a sample and I will be sharing more later... Hope you are all having as nice of a day as we are...

- Im married and we are retired. Leo loves to go fishing and I love to read plus other things. we have 7 Children and 5 grandchildren 3 step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 2 step great grands.I also love baseball and racing and a little bit of the Packer football games....I'm widowed now,Leo died of cancer sept 29, 2010. I miss him like he was part of me that left. I read a lot now and spend time on the computer.especially in winter.

What a wonderful picture! What a wonderful outlook you have. I've copied the quote from M. Scott Peck to share with my mom. She's been retired for 2 years now and is not doing much of anything. I go from feeling that's her right to being sad that she is missing out on so much and we are missing out on HER! I will be back to enjoy your journal!

How Beautiful!!!! This is the first time I've seen your journals. You seem very upbeat with a wonderful outlook. Seeing this picture makes you really think about all the beautiful creatures God created. My journals are a little darker. But then again I watch a lot of scary movies. I feel happier on the inside, though. :) Keep taking beautiful pictures.
