The zoo

We had fun at the zoo yesterday for a couple of hours while waiting for Leo's doctor appointment... turned out good at the doctor too. We thought his cancer was coming back but the doctor said he had a virus that was giving him a sore throat... we were worried. It sure is nice to get good news but always a little scary waiting to see. I was so worried I had to take a zanax and after hearing the good news I got so tired I had a hard time keeping awake and ended up in bed at 9 o'clock last night and slept the night away..... Feel great this morning though... Usually stay up to at least watch Letterman every night.
Today its a beautiful morning but is supposed to rain by 3 and all night long... so I don't have to water my gardens today. Maybe I will do a little shopping and then come home and watch the race. It should be a good one tonight at Daytona. I'm looking forward to it! I have a couple of movies to watch also before I have to take them back on tuesday ( will let you know how they were) I watched Cold Mountain yesterday and had to fast forward it twice because I don't care for the army stuff but the rest was pretty good.... well almost. If they just could have taken the War stuff etc etc out of it it would have been a great movie. maybe I should make a movie and let them all know how to do it.... Fat chance of that happening though, haha....
Have a wonderful day and take care,
Sandra
   P. S. Hope you like my zoo pictures as much as I liked taking them.

When I worked at the zoo, I took care of the big cats.  Momma lion's name is Kitty, it's who my Kitty is named after.  I have a pair of mittens that I spun and knit out of her hair.  I haven't been there for a long time, I may have to go visit soon.  Sounds like it was a real good day with Leo's good news and all.

As a child, I recall riding on one of those huge turtles at the local zoo in Florida!  I don't recall liking it, or being terrified, I just remember being on it.  :)

Your pictures are great; you have a great eye for it!
Sincerely,
~Dee
