Finally a butterfly

This isn't exactly the one I wanted but I have been waiting so long for this guy to finally come on my butterfly bush. I just couldn't get him to open his wings like I did last year... He flew away right away and I just wasn't fast enough... now if we get some warmer weather I should be seeing more and getting more pictures. I hope.
I have to go and watch golf ,olympics, and then racing but I just had to hurry and put this picture in before I forgot. Its the best I can do for today.

Oh, I have a spiritual feeling about butterflies, so this was like a personal gift today. Thank you for always sharing such beauty.

This guy's colors are very contemporary looking with all the black and white. I can almost see it hanging on a wall with a black/white matting behind it.Very Nice

It is a beautiful photo.  Butterflies are so fragile. They are one of my favorite things. *Barb*

It's a lovely picture!  It seems every time I see a butterfly my camera is not with me. I haven't seen one at home, but at work I saw a beautiful black butterfly with deep blue edging around its wings.  It sat there forever and I had no camera.
