FAll is Here

Fall is in the air tonight. Leo and I did some work in the yard this afternoon and it was a perfect day for it too... Nice sunny day with low humidity and in the very low 70's.... Perfect!   Tonight its supposed to go down to 38 I heard and now Leo has the heat on.... What a change in the weather. When Mike was here it was summer and now Fall. At least Winter didn't arrive yet. Leo had backed into my clothes line pole with his riding lawn mower  just before Mike came home so today was the day to put a new one in while I cut back some plants and got some pruned.. I got a nice little start. and Leo got a nice start on the clothes lines. Tomorrow if it warms up he will paint it and put the lines back . I probably won't use them for awhile though as we have something in the air around here that looks like rust on our shoes. It is also clinging to a couple of my bushes. I thought they were dying but Mike says its probably coming from a farmers field or something.... Leo too thinks its some kind of pollen and Mike and Gary both had runny noses and were sneezing so maybe thats what it is.... I wonder.  We haven't had any rain for a long time and all that beautiful weather the last 2 weeks so who knows.
My furry kids miss Mike I can tell as they aren't as peppy now that he is gone and seem to be waiting for him to come home... all 3 really liked having him here but then we all did.... what a treat for us!!!!!!!!!!
Goodnight, Sandra

What a great picture!  Fairies and acorns.  I, too, love fairies, and there's something about acorns I can't resist.  We have several oak trees in our yard, so we have lots of acorns.  I love when they fall with their little caps still on.  They're so cute.  It's chilly here in NJ, too.
