My little family

I got 2 more little people and now I have my whole family Me and Leo and our 7 kids, lol
I thought I would put a cute picture in today so we can pretend I'm not a bit worried about the kids in Florida.... Mike just called and said the wind gust was about 50 mph around noon and it rained but the sun came back out and its 90 out .... so he took the dog and went out side for awhile and Teri stayed in the house and is cooking so they don't get hungry while the storm passes through..... good for them.... Mike used some special nails and good tarps for the roof and he really taped up all their windows good.... no wood left but nowhere to nail it in either so he is satisfyed he did the best he can do.... I wished him well and he said he would call to let me know how they are doing when the next one comes..... some neighbors left because the kids were so scared.... most of his neighbors are still home ~ thats a good thing I guess.
Hope you are all having a good day. Its darn hot here in Wisconsin again today... I think Summer is mixed up this year. It would be nice now if Winter forgot to come but I have never heard of that happening, lol

Yes we are having a lot of wind gusts and rain as this Frances approaches our eastern coast.  I keep commanding it to go up and disappear but it just seems to keep coming.  I need some bigger mustard seeds....  Keep us in your prayers.  I am so glad we had this day together at home and are as prepared as we can be as it sounds like your son's family is.  We have said our prayers and keep on asking God to protect us and believe He surely will.  I'll pray for your family too and everyone in Florida.  We have been doing our housework and getting lots of business paperwork done.  The kids built an airplane model and played with play-doh and art ink stampers and stuff like that.  We've had steady, steady rain for hours on end now and I hear the wind howl.  They say it's made landfall in Martins County as the winds of the west side of it are on us.  Two million households without power.

Sounds like Mike and Teri have done all they can to get ready for Frances.  I hope no harm comes their way.

I love you little family, they are adorable!

I know you have been worried.   Maybe the worst is about to be over.  Course, now it's headed for the pan handle.  Guess we'll be watching TWC tonight.  Cute little gnomes!  My mother in law has always collected them!

I love your little gnome family.  They are so cute.  I hope your family in FL has made out ok.  This is a rough year for Floridians.  BTW, are you reading any good books lately?  I'm back into the Aunt Dimity series.  I really like them.  Take care.
