My new sofa

A couple of weeks ago we went shopping for a new sofa for the family room and I saw this red one and had to have it!!!! I had a brown one for 27 years and was really really tired of it... My son is supposed to come and take it one of these days but he sure is in no hurry as its still sitting in the room  ;( We told him if he doesn't get it soon we are going to give it to charity) Peaches can't jump up on it herself but with some help she can and seems to like it just fine.... only trouble she can't get under it like the old one.... she liked sleeping under the old one.... she will have to find a new spot I guess.

Its a beautiful sunny morning with the temps in the 50's already and for the next 2 days at least we will have nice warm days in the 70's again. We will take all we can get.... Weather man said its the beginning of Indian Summer and I for one hope it lasts many weeks. We usually have snow fluries by the end of the month. It will be interesting to see what happens this year.

I think I had better eat my breakfast so I can go out and play.... Its too nice to do housework today and much more fun taking care of the yard for the winter.... Hope you are having a nice day!

The lady in red!!! lol she lools very cozy sleeping there. Doesn't it just feel good getting new furniture?? When I got mine,I kept walking in and out of the room and couldn't take myself away. Enjoy and as for the old one, I too have a son that takes his time getting rid of things around here too. lol but ya still gotta love him lots. lol

Wow, what a nice sofa and the red isn't too overpowering.  I like it and it looks very inviting.  Seems one of your fur babies has already made themselves quite comfy.

I love your new sofa, but then red is my favorite color. The pillows are so pretty, too. Thanks for the info re: hometown and pictures. I'll try it out later when I'm home :)
