The picture is of Mindy wearing the mittens I made her. She said she likes them but I still am not satisfyed with the way they turned out and am making some of a different yarn. Im glad she is wearing them though as they were frustrating to make and now worth it.
We had a pretty cold night again last night at -9 and will be -10 tonight and wind chills about -25 to -30. We have been having this weather for a few days now so when this spell is over it should be all uphill from here... supposed to get up to 20 by Wednesday. A regular heat wave, right?
Today the sun is shinning so its a beautiful day.. I haven't decided yet what to do today, if I don't do anything active I will be on my glider exercising anyway. Maybe reading and knitting too... Maybe I will clean out a cupboard or something too. I have to keep busy for awhile.
Hope its warmer by you.... I will bet it is :>) Sandra

Brrrrr and I'm complaining about our 23 with a windchill of 8.
Stay warm and cozy today.
I like the mittens too!

Hi Sandra-
Sorry I haven't been by your journal in a while. It's been so busy. I love the mittens. Did you crochet or knit them? I crochet and have found it to be a lost art. Well, hope you are well and stop by my journal sometime when you get a chance. It is private but I added you to my list of approved readers. We don't have any snow but it is really cold down here right now so must be freezing in the north. Stay warm!
Take care,
Hugs,

Well, it is warmer here. It's 22 degrees at 9:35 p.m. Your wind chill factors are akin to the Antarctic summers at -35 below (real temps though not wind chill). So if you step outside you can feel the temps of South Pole!!!
Love the mittens.
