Johns assignment for Spring

                                     Spring
                It is snowing today
Is Spring really going to come?
                I sure hope it does

                Snow Snowing Snowing
                Wonder where the Robins went
                 When is Spring Coming?

Johns assignment for this week was to write a haiku for Spring but we are having an old fashioned snow storm and it does seem more like January to me...

I saw this little poem in my Springtime book:

        Spring Speaks

          Iam coming, little maiden!
          With the pleasant sunshine laden,
With the honey for the bee,
With the blossoms for the tree,
With the flower, and with the leaf---
Till I come the time is brief.

That is a nice little poem to think about today. I can't wait till I see the bees on the flowers again!

I saw Robin's here earlier this week, but was unable to get any good photo's. Thanks for sharing yours. Enjoyed your Spring Haiku, and poem.

That's a pretty little poem.
I had just noticed flowers poping out yesterday and now all is white again.

Yes, Spring is coming.  But I am getting tired of Mother Nature teasing us with Spring's beauty only to snatch it away again.  Grrrrr!!!
