Poncho

Front half of the poncho is finished already.... sure goes fast... just have to do the other side  ( its the same) and crochet a rose for the front.... I don't know yet if it will fit but I will make another one because its a fun thing to do.... It will be a good Spring Poncho or for summer nights I think... I used a Jiffy brand yarn and not what they recommended because I wanted it for Spring...  cute huh???  :)

I am watching the race and so far our favorite racers are doing pretty good in lap 137.... sure hope it continues... Jr didn't make it.... He has to do something because he is falling behind.... shouldn't have changed things so much and maybe his mind wasn't on the race... you think?  Hope he does better next week.
So back to crocheting and watching the race.... have a nice day, Sandra

very nice pattern and a beautiful bright color too. I'm sure your grandaughter will enjoy it.Hand made items always have more sentiment and love  attached to them too.

Oh, the poncho is soooo pretty.  I'm glad you showed us the pic.   You are so talented!!!  Wish I was close by as I would ask you if you would mind teaching me.  Then I'd have a new hobby!

I take it you are a Jr. Fan?  I was always for Jeff Gordon.  Our company does business with dupont (we order tyvek).  So a lot of racing calendars come our way.  I used to watch the race every Sunday in b/w cleaning spells, but then I got into journaling and needed my time back.

Very nice! You will have to post of photo of your Granddaughter wearing it. I watched the whole race, and most of my fav's had a bad day. Good to see Jimmy Johnson win his first race of the season.  ~Deborah
