Hibiscus in bloom

I just came in for a few minutes to show you my pretty hibiscus that is blooming now... those blossoms are even bigger than they look in the picture... I love it don't you? I never imagined we could grow plants like this in Wisconsin but I planted it last year and it made it through the winter. It is in the sun and close to the house so that is probably helping. I hope it lasts for many many years. :)  Now I have to go out and water the flowers as its been 2 days and they are looking pretty bad. So if I want to have flowers in bloom I had better get out and water. I have been working in the yard for the last 2 days but its still sooooo hot and soooo dry. Leo hasn't had to cut the grass in probably a month now... he is getting anxious about it too as it may just dry out completly... I hope it rains soon. It rained somewhere the other day but we didn't get a drop. last month we were lucky if we had a half an inch and nothing so far this month.... when we do get it I suppose it won't be able to stop. Isn't that the way.. Hope you are having a nice day, Sandra

We have bushes that look just like that called Rose of Sharon.  Last year we planted a row along the backyard fence.  Every year the seeds drop and we have loads of babies in the spring...we started with only two bushes now there is a least 20.  'On Ya' - ma
