Tuesday already???

I am anxious for some warm weather so I looked over my last years pictures and thought I would put a few in to bring my spirits up a bit.
Yesterday we went shopping and I got a new Viking sewing machine. My sister, Angel steered me in the direction of a nice Sewing machine store where they sell them and repair etc etc... such nice people so Leo bought me a nice machine... I hope it lasts forever... but you and I know they don't make them like they used to so time will tell. I will enjoy it as long as I can. I think I will go and find some material to make some bibs etc for my Step grandaughter who is going to have a baby any time in the next 4 weeks. I am not going to push myself into making something fancy right away because Spring should be here soon and I want to get out in the yard as soon as I can.
It's still been cold and windy and it can only get better, I hope.
So the next pictures I put in will be flowers that are coming up in the yard now.... :)  Hope your flowers are coming up ~ Sandra

Not to make you jealous but you'd love our weather down here right now. Spring has definately arrived in Florida. Of course by your standards we never get any winter :) I'm glad to have spring here I admit but it has a downside. We're about to have six months or so of 98 degree days with 98 percent humidity. I'll have a nice yard to look at in all that heat though! I hope you get to start your gardening very soon!

Love the pictures.  It's easy for me not to mind the cold at this time of year because I know for sure that warmer days are coming soon and it's a long time to winter.  Happy to see Leo got you a sewing machine.

Lovely to be able to put a face to the name lovely to meet you Sandra. Speaking of sewing machines I still have my Mums old Singer treadle which must be about 80 years old she had it electricfied if there is such a word but you know what i mean it does not work very well now but its still there. Your patio pots were super last year hope we get to see this years.  Bulbs are well up here just needing the temp to rise a bit still freezing with a north easterly wind snow forcast for tomorrow.  We don't usually get snow in March. Love Joan.

Good idea to make the bibs....that'll be more fun than letting out hems on jeans (4 pairs today for Mark).  But now I can start my bathrobe.  I like the pictures, especially the one of you holding the flowers.  That must be the day we went to Schroeder's in De Pere.  Hope we can go flower shopping again this spring.  Angel

Good morning Sandra, I have been wondering who you were when you make comments in my journal. Dad has your site featured today so here you are. I love your pictures. As you already know I love taking pictures. The one of you with your spring flowers last year is a good picture. Now I know what you look like. Have a nice day. Helen
