It's been awhile since I have written ... guess there isn't all that much to say. I have been reading all the journals and commenting on some when I felt something to say but not much in the mood to write myself lately... Don't know why.... I seem to be waiting for something... warm weather and sunshine I guess. In the meantime the flowers are blooming in front and some around the yard where the sun shines. I have some beautiful crocus and hyacenth and the little scillia and others too. but but but.... I don't see them except for a brief time because I can't sit on the porch much ..... still have to wear a winter coat if I do.....
For some reason I feel nervous today and last night.... don't know why.... my body seems to be telling me I feed it too much..... everywhere you turn you find out what you are eating or drinking is not good for you.... Iam going to start blocking my ears when I hear that and just listen to how I feel after I eat to know what is good and what isn't. I can't drink regular coffee so am drinking one or two cups of decaf coffee a day and now I hear that is why I'm fat....... is this right? So I start drinking iced tea but can't have artificial sweetner so I have sugar or honey in it..... can't have much of that either so I drink more water and get up a hundred times it seems in the middle of the night ..... and that is just what I drink.... now go to food and it starts all over again.... I just saw on aol a "new" diet..... only eat food without labels.... all wholesome food but cereal has labels and I imagine all cereal has labels..... so I guess that means no cereal too.... so maybe I will have some eggs..... oops I bet there is a label there too.... Maybe a potato for breakfast???? can't have milk or juice or yogurt as they all have labels. so this will be another diet that I won't go on but will cause some time of stress wondering what about it is good. After all it is a doctor that thought this one up. Of coarse to find out more you must buy the book. I have enough diet books to start a store. maybe if I threw them all away it would be the best for me.
So that is where my mind has been going lately and why I'm going crazy..... :>)
I think I will go now and do some laundry..... at least that is a bit of exercise. Yesterday I went to Wal Mart again to get 2 more big plants for the patio.. they didn't have the one I wanted but they had one like I got the other day and another called a Chinese fan palm... When I was putting it in the car a lady came by and said that it was a great plant and she has one and it got really really big. I wonder what mine will do. I'm putting it outside for the summer so it will probably get big too.... It will be fun and if it gets too big I can always cut it way back for the winter. I have to repot them into a nice pot though.... I have the pot and the dirt but I will do that out on the lawn so I don't make a mess... It will be a big job.... but good exercise. :)
Tomorrow is supposed to be colder and then it should start warming up..... at least according to the 15 day forcast.

Good luck on whatever diet you decide to do. I wonder if the decaf coffee is making me fat LOL. I will find any excuse I can except just plain eating to much.

I hear ya on all the dangerous foods out there. I just keep trying to do what works for me and exercise a little more each day and eat as many healthy foods as I can. I'm sticking with oatmeal or skipping breakfast, and fruits, veggies, lots of salad, chicken, fish, baked potatoes, pasta now and then. I hope it works for me. I have been walking every night or so with the husband, but this week I think we walked almost everyday. Hugs and I love plants and Walmart!! It's been a while since I have stopped over here but have enjoyed my stop.

coffee is not bad for you on a diet. i have 2 cups in the morning...regular. it all depends on what you put IN the coffee. if you use creamer, try getting the fat free kind (not the sugar free kind). make sure you measure what you put in. the FF creamer you can have 2 tablespoons of it per cup.
try chai tea...comes in decaf. you can put it over ice. spiced chai is the best. you can find that at copps or even walmart.
