Try 100 degrees???

The tall ships came into the port of Green Bay this week end so we went down town to get some pictures and I thought I would share them with you.... they turned out pretty good... I took my big camera so I could get closer.... We went early in the morning before all the people came and before it got too hot. It's really going to get hot today.... they say it will feel like 115 but "only" go to 100. I was just out there watering some of my plants and its pretty hot already. I sure hope our air conditioning keeps working or I will have to go and spend my time in the basement where its always cooler. Thats were we always went when it got hot as I was growing up.... We spent many many summers without it.. I think its only been about 6 years since we got ours too. We did have one in the window before but then It's so much nicer to have it all over the house.... now I'm spoiled.  Just today and tomorrow I guess and then it will go back down into the 80's. I like the 70's so much better though with night time in the 60's or lower.
I think I can go do a little house work now and then water the pots in the front later.... Hope its cooler by your house, Sandra

The pics of the ships are great!!!!  I'll bet they were something to see in person.

Now about this heat!  I say, enough is enough!  I am so tired of all this unseasonably hot weather.  Phew, let's fast forward to FALL!!!!!!!

Those tall ships were near here a few weeks ago in Cleveland, they just keep going and visit all around.  The radio had an interview with one of the men that travels with them.  Very interesting.  I didn't get to go see them though.  We have that terrible heat here too.  Thursday it's supposed to be better.  We have an advisory up as we'll only be between 100-104, they said the warning comes when it reaches 105.  I'm thankful for the a/c too !  take good care and keep cool!  'On Ya' - ma

The pictures are great!  I really like # 2.  We are really hot too.  It's hard to remember what it was like without air conditioning.  I don't know how we got along.

I loved your pictures.  Thanks for sharing with us.  It's hot here in Virginia too.  It's supposed to be around 100 today, 102 tomorrow and 104 on Wednesday, with a heat index of 110.  Too hot for me!!  I'm ready for fall.  Have a great day.

I'm sure it's cooler today.  Owen and I went to Murphy park and played frisbee most of the morning and then went to look for Diesel, his favorite train engine.  We found a Diesel and then went to the GB yard waste site and checked out what good stuff they had.  It was too wet there today though.  Stopped for an ice cream with sprinkles on the way home.  Almost went to your house to see your pretty flowers but Owen suggested ice cream so we turned left instread of right.

I used some of your ship pictures on my screensaver at work and got some nice comments. I think they're better than the pictures that were in the Press-Gazette.
