Journaling for how long?

All this talk about journal anniversaries got me to look up and see how long I have been journaling. This journal has been going since Nov 7, 2003 but that is just when I got this new computer. I started journaling before but since I had to start over with a new email address I  don't know when I first started but it looks like it was close to the beginning.... its been nice but I am getting lazy with mine lately and don't post entries every day any more but I read everyones every day and when I'm finished I don't have much time to write in mine..... (my excuse and I'm sticking to it)
Tomorrow is the big day... I have to go and get a lump cut off my head.... so maybe I will come in again tomorrow and let you know I survived it.... :)
Leo was going to the store yesterday and ran into our son Ricks car that was parked in the road accross the street. He knew it was there but guess he wasn't thinking so now he is going to the insurance office to see about it.... he dented the back door and his bumper has to be fixed too... we feel so bad about this but he works for the car dealer so it should be fixed like new...I sure hope anyway.
After church yesterday we went to the store and I got a new pair of red slippers.... I love them because they are so comfortable and I love red. :)then came home and watched the race. Rick and Shari were over for awhile too so that was nice! Shari brought me some of her tomatoes because mine got blossom end rot this year. :( so I just threw the plants out.... I planted them in pots so I won't be doing that again... they were beautiful plants and the tomatoes were plentiful but they all got the rot even before they got big.... lesson learned I guess. Shari's tomatoes taste very good and I will be having some sandwiches with them today.
We are supposed to be getting rain today so its starting to cloud up this morning. We still need the rain.
Have a nice day, Sandra

I don't know how long I've been journaling either.  I deleted my first journal and started Good Morning Sunshine a month or so later...So I think I journaled for over 2 years.  I wish I'd never deleted the first one.  Will be praying for your surgery tomorrow.  My youngest son just had to have that done a few weeks ago.  He was surprised at how easy it was, hope yours is the same. I had a couple of fresh tomatoes so far and they taste absolutely delicious.  The taste just can't compare to the hot house variety.   It's a sunny beautiful day here.  Make sure to let us know how it all went...'On Ya' - ma

Good luck with the doctor tomorrow - it will be wonderful to have this behind you. I know how Leo felt when he backed into the car. Laura did that with our newest car not too long ago. I parked the car off center in the driveway. Her car got a little dent, and the new one got a little dent and scratches. We didn't get it fixed until a while later when Scott smashed in the whole front end and it all got fixed - now it looks like new again lol. Too bad about your tomatoes. One of my cherry tomatoes had so many white flies, I pulled it out cause the tomatoes would get sticky - I guess the teeny flies must have been biting into them. The bigger plants are turning so slowly and every tomato I pick has a slug bite in it :( I ended up buying tomatoes at farmer's market this year.

I hope everything went well at the Doctor.
A couple of years ago I ran into a pole in my basement and got quite a dent in my car but didn't hit anyone else. My car was fixed just like new too. I even got to experience taking the bus to work.Lol

Good wishes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.  You'll be on my mind all day until I hear how it went.
Tom backed into the side of Steve's truck early this summer at the cottage.  We felt rotten about it and offered to pay to get it fixed, but he still hasn't fixed it.
Hope you keep up with the journal; it's my link to you.  Angel

Isn't it amazing how long we've been at this? I remember when you started your journal over with a new name.  I started journaling here since Aug 3 2003.  The day I closed on my house.  I found you right off and have been reading your journal ever since.
