Saturday my cat Charlie bit me...... ouch. he was looking out the window at another cat and they were talking and it started to get loud so I went to the window and hit the screen and yelled and Charlie got mad I guess or maybe as the nurse said he thought I was going to hit him.... I don't know but it sure did hurt and Monday we decided I should go and have the doctor take a look at it. Im on some kind of pills that are supposed to be good for cat bites ..... some kind of penicillin type drug and I take 2 big ones daily and have to put heat on it 2 or 3 times a day. it is getting better and I have to go back to the doctor tomorrow morning. I was really really mad at Charlie for a long time .... in fact Im still not too happy with him. I can't believe he did that to me. I guess I learned something Saturday. I should have handled the situation differently I guess. he wouldn't come and sit in my window for 2 days and he still is careful when he does. I wouldn't look at him until yesterday.
After I see the doctor tomorrow I think I will go and check out some plants to put on my 2 Granparents graves. my younger sister,Lisa is doing my Mom and Dads now.
Then I will get some flowers for some of my pots too. not going to plant any in the ground as we have so many already but I will fix some pots and maybe get another hanging basket, not sure.
Hope everyone is enjoying Spring. soon it will be Summer. I have been reading on the front porch and the fresh air is so beautiful. What a lovely time of year.

Ouch! I guess that hurt ! I've been bitten by mine but not that bad. Didn't have to see the doctor. My old lady cats are very persickity...I don't trim their nails any more because of it.
I love this weather and am hoping it stays warm now. I go after work to day to put some flowers on all the graves for my family. Not a pleasant chore for sure, yet I would never forget. 'On Ya' - ma
Yep, I've been bit by a cat before and it does hurt. I think why Charlie got you was because, by the sound of what you describe, he was primed for a good cat fight. By you smacking the window it just provided the extra umph to start the 'fight'. My girls turned on each other after an encounter with another cat at the window. Same kind of scenario. So be to mad with Charlie. :-)
Love the pics. You home is just picture perfect and lovely!

It's Spring. You must have scared off a female cat in heat and Charlie got confused. He didn't mean it. Flowers are real pretty.
Beautiful picture!!!! What do you use to outline yourplants??Is it bricks? It looks sooooooooo neat!

Hi Sandra. Your place is beautiful. Flowers and landscaping very nice!! I like to read out on the porch and will be doing that today, myself.
I have a friend that had a cat bite and she had a rough time but was late getting to the doctor. It was already infected. So you were wise to go early. I guess it scared the cat so bad is why he did it. Probably never meant to hurt you at all, just reacted instinctively.
Have a nice Memorial day.
