Well, I got my ground cover I guess and I am having a good time with my pets playing in it and shoveling it. We have path ways all over the back yard for the little ones to run through. Charlie doesn't seem to mind the snow and just runs and jumps high in the air.... What a joy my pets are to me. They keep my heart happy happy!!!! It is still snowing so I will take some more pictures when it is all over. We may get the 6 inches here after all. Sure is fun to have snow and not have to worry about going to work although our son went to work today. he seems to like to drive in the snow. He likes the chalenge, sure hope he is not careless though. My husband has been retired for 5 years already ~ doesn't seem possible. He retired early because he had cancer and now he is all clear of it, knock on wood.... Last check up was good! Now he enjoys the simple things of life like lots of fishing and some golfing in the summer. He even goes ice fishing but last time it wasn't a lot of fun because the fish weren't biting but he did get to see and talk to a lot of guys so that was nice!

GOOD MORNING, LIKE READING YOUR JOURNAL. SO GLAD YOUR HUSBAND IS CANCER FREE. I PRAY HE STAYS THAT WAY. ICE FISHING? SOUNDS COLD BUT MANY MEN LIKE IT. IF NOTHING ELSE THEY CAN ENJOY THE COMPANY. HAVE A TERRIFIC DAY. Barbpinion
I just came back in from shoveling and cleaning off my car. It is so cold and the snow is blowing but I think it has stopped snowing. My fingers are still numb. I have a special jacket and hat for shoveling but couldn't find my special mittens so just wore gloves and they didn't work good. One thing though, this weather makes hot chocolate taste so good!
I love your pictures. I came across my bench/table like the one on your porch when I was working in the basement yesterday. I think I'll get it out on the porch soon and see how it looks. I really like your's. Tom and Scott left to drop off another van full of stuff at Good Will. I feel like I may be making some progress. I hope to get back at it this weekend. It sure makes me stop and think before I buy/store anything else lol.
Oh you pics are so pretty. It looks like you live in a very nice neighborhood. I hope we have at least one day of ground covering snow. We did two years ago, so I guess I can hope. :-)
Ice fishing! ! ! ! I can't imagine doing that. BRRRRRR! Hugs to your husband for continued good health.
I love to see it snow! I wish I could live where there is snow all year. Your pictures are fantastic! Pets are wonderful friends to all of us. Mine make me happy and keep me busy.
I send by best wishes for your husband's health to continue to improve.

I like this story why? It show's how much fun you can have in the snow and not just that it also show's how
I'm glad to hear from a Wisconsin resident who enjoys the winter. My husband and I have a place in northern WI, and enjoy the weather of all seasons, but winter especially makes a person feel alive. It takes a little more effort to enjoy yourself - but how great it makes one feel. Have a Great Winter there in Greenbay!
