The first of four pictures
This is a picture I took today of the road repair work starting. I took it in front of our driveway. I guess it won't be long until they are in front of our house. after they repair the curbs they are going to tear up the road and put new black top on it.... Then we will probably have to repair our grass by the curb too in the place they had to fix. My husband is not happy about that as he takes much pride in his grass ;) He will have to stay home from fishing for a day or two and I will have to see it gets watered enough. Why is it to get something nice you always have extra work to do I wonder... I hope the kids in the neighborhood don't throw that pile of stones around.... we have nice kids around so I think it will be fine... I will send pictures as the work progresses ( if you want to see or not) LOL

These are nice pictures of your home and your blooming flowers. My tulips have been long gone and I'm in the midst of planting my annuals. I always feel rejuvenated working outside!

I just love the pictures and I can see your neighborhood and house. You have such a nice house and the neighborhood looks very nice as well. Of course the flowers are beutiful. I wouldn't expect anything less. But, you lawn is lovely. What kind of grass do you grow up there?
Mostly Kentucky blue grass and some other kinds mixed in
I just stopped by and I went back and read your entries and saw your lovely photos. Great journal you have here and you're a wonderful gardener. : )
