Today is a beautiful summer day. Highs in the 70's with low humidity. I think I will work in the back yard for awhile as I need to dead head some roses etc and tie up a cosmos that got way too tall and fell down yesterday in the wind we had for a few minutes.
They are working on our road again and are going to put some stuff on so the top coat will bind to the black top they already put on. It is some mean stuff and they warned us not to drive on it as it would stick to our cars and driveways etc ~ so I guess I have to stay home today. I don't want to park at the end of the street because we have a group of young high school boys that don't have enough to do and you never know how safe the car will be... Last night just as I was falling asleep the door bell rang about 10 times and when we all got up to see there wasn't anyone out there.... I wonder if they did that to every house along the way. I will have to ask around today. All I can say is Im glad I don't live alone as I would still be wondering about it.. Gary went to the door and Leo went outside to look around and he saw some kids at the corner so I imagine thats who it was... I would have stayed in the house and peeked out to see and wondered all night.... Sassy boys! ;>) I suppose they thought it was a lot of fun waking everyone up.
Other than that my life has been rather boring. Sometimes I like it that way though don't you? I hope everyone is having a good day. Sandra

It's funny how kids can annoy you as an adult, over the same things we used to do as kids.
You weather sounds wonderful. We should be cooler by Saturday. I can't wait, I am ready for cooler weather.

Oh, the front came through here in Nashville and it's only 78 right now at lunchtime! It is a nice Happy Day! The pic is just beautiful. My parents have had some problems with teen age boys in their neighborhood. They've had a terrible time with it. They've egged the house, have been very loud, tore down their fence and all kinds of problems. When you call the police the kids get mad and take revenge. So you just can't seem to win. Good luck with it.
