Still more flowers

Two different sunflowers planted themselves from a bird feeder I had there this winter... one a stripped seed and the other the black oil sunflower seed.... I like both but the black one has more flowers and it kinda colorful. I have to stake up the glads so they look nice as they are going to bloom pretty soon now.... Seems like its should be the beginning of August but noooo... next year I hope its a different summer and we do get some tomatoes. My sister Joan got a nice big bowl today but she planted the July 4th tomatoes and I planted Celebrity.... next year I will be smarter and plant both.... the plants look nice and they have green tomatoes on but small ones yet.....
It was a very humid day today.... I wish it would have rained as it couldn't have been more humid if it did and we still need a lot of rain. I planted 4 new Iris' today and the soil only got moisture in the top inch. The rest was like digging in stones where I planted them.... It is supposed to rain tonight though so thats a good thing. Under the hydrangea bush I have some mums that are getting blossoms on...... they should be pretty too but that is probably the last of my garden when they finish blooming.  The roses are still blooming though so thats a good thing.

I love your garden too. See those two chairs in the middle? I'd love to be sitting there sipping iced -tea and visiting with you. What a beautiful place to sit and think, or just *Be*.  {{{{Sandra}}}  *Barb*
