Good Morning,

Its a cloudy day here in Green Bay and looks like we will be getting rain... not snow. We are all ready for the snow though if it should happen to come.Everything is put away and cut back or pulled out etc etc etc. Leo even put lights on the evergreens in the front already. We won't turn them on though until after Thanksgiving sometime. Its just that its so much easier to put them on before it snows.
The above picture is one I put in my calendar. I thought the clover and the spots on the deer was pretty and it kinda matches doesn't it.
Yesterday I started a diet and gained a pound.... what do you think of that? It's just not fair is it. My husband knows I retain water and it has been very humid so he says its a water gain... I will go along with that but cut back some more I guess. I thought I would have lost a half because I did cut back and worked outside yesterday plus went shopping ~ I guess I have to try harder or just not weigh myself everyday. Anyone else picking this time of the year to start a diet? But if I don't I will really be chubby by the first of the year. Seems I am always dieting but I will hang in there. Wish me luck. I need all the "luck" I can get.
Hope your having a nice day today!  sandra

Hi Sandra. That's a lovely photo of the deer. They're such precious, gentle creatures. Wishing you luck on your diet. It's so hard to keep weight down, especially now, with all the holidays coming. I am not on a diet right now. I'm just trying to make good choices and like you, cut back some. My doctor had some good advice for me and it is working. He said, "Barb, to make losing weight easier all you have to do is this. " Eat what you usually eat but just eat half of it. If you do this you'll automatically lose weight." He was right. I used to eat three slices of pizza, now have one. I had two pieces of toast with coffee so have 1 instead. I still eat all I was eating, but cut out the sweets. Try this. Maybe it will make it easier for you too. Hope so. *Barb*

The deer are beautiful.  I wonder what kind they are.  They look sort of like white tail fawns but with adult faces.  Anyway, I really like the effect of the shadow and light.

Oh, it's always good to cut back.  I think I'm going to start eating crackers and soup and cheese for lunches instead of sandwich, chips, and cookie!  Eating healthy always seems to work well, just change the dieting habits.  Good luck with it.  I always tended to gain weight every time I dieted, but I do well trying to eat better side dishes, less fries and potatoes and more mixed veggie mixes and fruit.  It's a long term thing, of changing the taste buds.  I crave veggies now!!
