I am so sleepy today. Leo and Gary got up around 6 today and I was planning to sleep until 8. After they woke me I couldn't get back to sleep and have been tired all day. I stayed up until after 12 last night and I need about 8 hours to not be sleepy on a dreary sort of a day like we have here today.
I did do a little shopping this morning though. We are looking for a new patio set.... something pretty so I went to 3 different stores so far. Tomorrow we will go to 2 or 3 more. So far the one I like the best looks like wicker but it is for outside, Its a resin all weather wicker. Indoor or outdoor. Comfortable too, now I have to sell Leo on it... he likes the plain old kind like we have now... whats the sense of getting something new if it isn't different. LOL Martha Stewart makes one and I suppose that is the one Leo will like if I can get him to agree.... you know.... K mart and cheaper. Ha Ha... We shall see. I have to make myself feel good because the neighbors are moving and it is making me so sad...Gotta get my mind off and think of something to make me feel good.... got any ideas for me? I guess I don't do well with change. It could be for the better, right? Maybe they won't light their wood stove in summer so I have to close the windows.... maybe they will like my little dogs and cat...... maybe they will be Democrats, hahahaha.... so it could be for the better and I must think positive. Wish I knew someone who was looking for a house.... its a cute little 3 bedroom that is very well taken care of. The thing is I believe everything is done for a reason and God has a lesson of some kind for me to learn with new neighbors.... I'm so scared that I won't be able to handle it and then we might have to move..... wish us good neighbors and if you pray for something like that could you slip in a little one for us? :)
I went to the video store and got another Goldie Hawn movie. I found 3 at the store and another one at the video store .... not much money because they are kinda old movies... good ones though. They didn't have Sargent Benjemin though so maybe I will look on ebay... that should take my mind off for a bit too, huh?
Its just these rainy, cloudy days we have been having.... we had a couple now so it will be getting better soon.... then I will have to keep busy in the yard again won't I. haha... always something.
Anyway I hope you are having a nice day today and are happy, Sandra

Wishing you good new neighbors. I like Goldie Hawn movies too. Paula
It's hard to lose your nieghbors. We lost the neighbors on both sides and across the street within a few years of each other. I thought they'd be there forever. Our kids were all the same age and were all born here. But - they all moved up to bigger houses. It was very hard. The new neighbors are all wonderful and kept things nice so that made it easier. And we've made good friends with them and we all still watch out for each other. Now we're losing the next door neighbors again next month. They're going to a senior apartment and another neighbors parents bought the house. They seem very nice so all is well......but I don't like change either. I guess that's what happens when you live in a house a long time though. Most people don't anymore. When Laura was in grade school, she said she was about the only one who still lived in the same house since she was born.
Oh my a good Goldie Hawn movie should lift your spirits. It always works for me.
How sad to read about Kitty. He was a grand lion and lived a long, long life. I am sure he will be missed by everyone that frequented the zoo.
