Rain beautiful rain

It rained last night.... boy did it ever rain. We got 3 & 3/4 ". Isn't that a good thing for us that were suffering a drought. We didn't get wind or too much thunder and lightening but some close by did and I'm so sorry for that. There were 18 tornados that were spotted last night in Wisconsin. I guess 5 in our valley. One person was killed to. That is so sad. Too bad we can't just get a nice soft rain for everyone to enjoy. It is going to be in the 80's today and tomorrow but then it will only be 72 on Sunday. I guess from now on the temp. will be good for me and just hope the humidity will be lower too.
After that nice rain it should be easy to pull weeds again. I think I will wait until Monday when its cool.
I haven't had my coffee yet and really don't know what I will be doing today..... it should be a good one though and hope you have a nice day too, Sandra

we had our lightening show here in Boston a few days ago and our heavy rains too. They were scary too and we got some power outages in some areas and trees that were damaged and some areas got severe flooding. Not good things but mother nature has her own way with keeping things in perspective I guess.

When the storm started last night there was a really loud bang, the first thunder, but many people around here thought it was a bomb.  I figured it was thunder cause I could smell the rain.  It got real windy here and some of the roof blew off and caused the rain to drip right in the house.   I was hoping for an update on the neighbors.  It's fun to hear about them.

Hello Sandra,
We got about 3 inches of rain here, on Thursday night. Along with pea sized hail, and no high winds...we were very lucky! Had Tornada Warnings in several counties neighboring us. One was spotted not far from here. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Gordon currently has the pole at Michigan..but qualifying isn't over yet.  Take care.          ~Deborah
