We are having the most beautiful day today! The MOST beautiful. My snow bunny is melted and so is all the snow except for the patches and the banks that were shoveled. One more day like today and maybe they will be gone also. We will not speak of what will happen tomorrow. We will just take it one day at a time now and we will know it is SPRING My favorite time of the year!!!!!!!! Hip Hip Hooray!People were washing their cars in the good ole neighborhood and going for walks with their families and joggers and dog walkers and a lot just had sweatshirts on going into the craft show. Now mind you it isn't warm to Southern standards but we have had a looooong winter and we are ready for Spring I will say that.Its only noon but I was up and about since 6:30 because its the first day of Spring after all. I went grocery shopping very early and was surprised to see that the bakery Leo and I worked at when we were very young is back in business and selling bread and semoles at Woodmans grocery. Well You know I just had to buy some and have already had a sandwich. Its so nice to find something like that after so many years. The man that ran the bakery finally gave all his recipes (sold) to the man that bought his bakery. I sure wish I wasn't on this low fat diet now but bread does not have much fat. I didn't even let myself look around to see if they carried any more of the baked goods.... Now Im just dreaming of all the delicious cakes and bars etc etc they used to sell.... I used to sell and Leo delivered them. They always made the best wedding cakes and birthday cakes and their daughter is working there and decorating them just like the old days. Some things do come back and others leave us. I just heard from a friend at the craft sale that Sears is no longer selling paint.... Well now where are we going to get the paint for the outside trim on the house I wonder. That Weatherbeater they sold was the best...... See it all comes and goes and we can never get used to anything can we.Roll with the punches so they say. Anyway its a beautiful day (morning) and I am happy. Probably only 50 out but it was already 44 when I got up so the snow was melting as we slept.

I'm glad you had some Spring come your way. Can you visit another nearby Sears, in another town perhaps? Might be able to still get your paint. I was very inspired over the bakery opening back up. It must make you feel like old times. Thanks for sharing. I love the birdhouse photo.
What's to say! Sounds like a perfect day. I am so happy for you guys, you deserve a beautiful day. The birdhouse is too cute and it's nice to see some green!
