Tomorrow Is the Ides of March

And its about time too isn't it? Especially for us here in the North. Seems the weather changes after the Ides. All I know is it sure is a dreary day today so if the sun shines tomorrow it will be welcome. The March winds are really blowing today too and we are still gettin flurries.... Everyone is sneezing today though so I would imagine its because the weather is going to change... Im optimistic anyway. ;) I keep thinking of you in the southern states planting your flowers and out in your gardens and I am sooooooo jealous. I know my day will get here and I guess its like this every spring but I am getting more impatient every year .... Old age you know. :)I ordered another plant on QVC today and if my ordering continues I won't have any room left to plant them. I already have a million plants in my yard ~ I guess they call it spring fever only spring isn't even here yet.
One of my favorite race drivers won today so that was fun and I didn't see any wrecks and that was nice too. I hate it when someone gets hurt but I like watching the race.  Its nice to see baseball on tv again too. So you see everything is pointing toward spring and as soon as we get some sun and the wind dies down I will see some flowers. I'm getting excited.
The Spring birds are back in Wisconsin and showing themselves so as soon as the wind dies down and the sun comes out this will be the best place in the World to be. Tne naturalist Roy Lukes says the horned larks are here and that is a sure sign of Spring and my Mother always said when she saw and heard the Red Winged Black Bird that was a sure sign of spring and they have appeared at my feeder this week and I say its a bunch of Robins gathering and yesterday there were over 15 Robins in my front yard. Some eating berries from a tree and some getting worms out of the ground and I have a lot of finches and chick a dees and of coarse the sparrows and others. Oh Happy Days!

Wonderful! I hope spring comes for you very soon! Things are just now growing here in KY. It really hasn't been warm enough to plant anything. I love birds but don't know all their names. You mentioned worm...did you know according to Native Americans this moon is called the "worm" moon when the earthworms start to come out of the ground. It's also Moon of the Strong Wind.

I am excited for you and can't wait to see your pics. My garden is young and just starting out. I would love to see how your efforts have paid off for you year after year with Spring beauty
