This is a poem my Mother sent me for my birthday 11 years ago and I still treasure it, it was found in the Good Housekeeping magazine and written by Dorothy Moffatt:
ALL I NEED
All I need
To make good my lot
Is a seed to take flower
and a garden plot,
Water and sun
and a hand to lend
A little help
when my back won't bend,
Someone to praise,
someone to care
About the flowers
growing there.
This is enough--
Pleasant hours to spend,
Some sun and a plot,
a flower and a friend.

Very beautiful poem! :)
I love the poem and it's so appropriate for what I am doing with garden. Or should I say dirt pile. :-)
