Warm day, almost hot even

I can't believe its been so long since I added an entry in here. I must have been busy I guess, lol Here is teh other toad I have ... Leo fishing, ha. He went fishing again today early and he caught so many big fish he got blisters on his hands. He came home kinda early and said he wasn't going for awhile now as he caught enough ... ya right and if I believe that..... haha
Today is such a beautiful day.. Its 79 here this afternoon. I put some dirt in my railing planters and added some pansys for now. They can take cool weather and I know it will be getting cooler as we are about 20 above normal today at least. Everything is getting so pretty now. Not just the flowers but the trees are getting leaves already, not all but quite a few. I think its 2 weeks early this year. We sure are having a beautiful Spring.
After Leo came home and ate and rested a little he put a edging along the front sidewalk where we always have dirt come over on the side walk... wonder why after all its been like it was for 27 years. I must admit it looks pretty good and I won't have to sweep there everyday now maybe. He also drilled some bigger holes in my railing pots as they got too wet after we both decided to water them and it was not draining... boy did the water flow after he drilled those holes. Maybe that is why I didn't have as good of luck as I thought I should have with those planters last year.... ya never know. We watered the plants in the front today too as they are in the sun all day and they were really drying out... maybe that means we will get some rain. I hope so.... but not too much.
I think I did too much today or started too much as Im beat tonight and had to take a tylonol. Started my laundry and hung some out and then looked in the boxes for summer clothes and brought a big box up stairs and looked through other boxes of clothes and found some to give away again... It is always too big a job putting away and bringing out and then deciding where to put things.... like where will I put my shorts??? should I keep them or give them away I wonder.... so some of the clothes are still on my bed and some clothes still need washing.... I should know better. I also went to Wal Mart because Mindys birthday is Wed and I had to get her an extra card to send to her at collage. We will be going to her party this week end but she likes to get mail at school my daughter says so Gramma had to go and get one. So as long as I was there I got some Miracle grow dirt and fertilizer too. So this is how my days have been going. I have been reading journals but then I think of something to do before I write in mine...

We are waiting to find out who the new Pope will be. Black smoke today and now its night time there. Wonder what tomorrow will bring?
Oh and Jeff didn't win Sunday but he stayed in the race and Jr did pretty good and so did Jimmy but it was a strange race I thought. Hope next week is better. Should be interesting as its a night race and Jeff says he likes driving at night. :)

Hope everyone is enjoying Spring, Sandra

What a cute frog!  I always love the beautiful photos you put in your journal!  79 degrees IS nice!!  We have been having a lot of days like that here in Florida and I love this time of year.  I should buy some pansies and more petunias but I don't know if they will survive the heat we have in our front yard.  We have mostly sun!
I just love pansies though and imagine yours look lovely!  Sounds like you have been busy.  My Rob went fishing lastnight and it was great for him to finally take a break from work and get out there to fish for a while.  He works so hard and so many hours.
Hugs,
Lisa

It's raining here now and I'm sitting next to an open window and the air smells so sweet and good.  I knew it was going to rain because the Robins sang their rain song so loud this evening...of course the dark clouds gave it away a little too.  A nice soft rain so far.  My Anakin loves the thunder and is asleep in the window.  I did a gardening thing today too...I raked the yard waste to the front curb that I hid under the porch last fall because I was to late for pickup.
