Still nice today

It's amazing what one nice day can do for the flowers. Every year I am amazed again. You would think I would come to expect this to happen but I never do... It seems impossible to be true after the winter we have. God is truly Present I say. It's a nice present for us that have gotten through the winter.... I'm very happy and "Dad" I have a big smile on my face these days.
We went shopping today and after we came home we decided to go again after we had lunch.. this rarely happens but I keep thinking about the arbor I saw at Steins and we had the money so as long as it was still wanted as much after a month went by we went to get it... Leo has to put it together and he has it on the front porch and is figureing out what he has to do first... I'm so glad he agreed to get it and put it up for me. I sure couldn't do it myself but he seems to think it will be easy. I guess some of it is already together but it still looks like a lot of work. I may have to dig 2 plants out and trasnplant them but its worth it and maybe I will have more room to plant my morning glories this way. I will be putting in lots of pictures with it as a focal point I'm sure.
I'm watching tv and they are showing President Clinton and the 2 Bushes in Rome. I'm glad they are there for us... it means a lot I think. They need to be there. The Cardinals will be picking a new Pope starting in a week and a half.... I sure hope they pick well and I will be praying for their guidence.
It is so sad about the tornadoes around the south. Mississippi for sure and Alabama too. We were supposed to get thunder storms today but so far its been a nice day. You just know it didn't rain because Leo put the fertilizer on the lawn yesterday. I guess fertilizer isn't like it used to be and it won't burn the grass anyway. Leo said not unless it gets into the 80's.... then if it hasn't rained we will be watering. I don't think that is going to happen though so it will be ok. Today after Leo power raked yesterday we have some crocus' in bloom where we used to have them around a tree. The tree is gone and now the crocus' are blooming in the grass... We love it !
Hope you are having a nice day today too,
Sandra

Oh! Your Daffodils are blooming. Mine didn't come up this year. The weather lately has been perfect. We just need some rain now.      ~Deborah

Glad you are keeping up with the Pope.  And glad you are enjoying your buttercups there.  I noticed today the Tulips are in full beautiful bloom, here in middle TN.
I dread the next few weeks in a way....it's time for bad weather for us.  It starts in Alabama and MS and GA and then works it's way up to us usually b/w Mid April to Mid May.
